What is Rush?

The general process of joining a chapter is to first participate in a non-committal week-long event called “Rush”, which is an opportunity for you to mingle and learn about the brothers, the chapter, and the Fraternity. After rush, there is an interview process in which the most promising candidates will receive a bid. If you are given a bid, and choose to accept it then you will begin a new period in your life, starting with the New Member Education process. This process is meant to to teach you the history and values of the fraternity, enhance your organizational and time management skills, and most importantly form the bond of Brotherhood that makes Beta Chi Theta the fraternity that it is.
